This article is for reviewers. Learn how to log into your reviewer portal and complete reviewing in a scorecard review round.

Commonly asked questions

Q: What if I don't see a "Review Board Member" role option when I log in?
A: If you don't see the option at all, you may be using an email address that isn't assigned to any applications to review. Check with your program administrator.

Q: Can I save my progress without submitting?
A: Yes. Click Save to save your progress and come back later without submitting your final score.

Q: Can I edit a score after I've submitted it?
A: Yes, as long as the review round is still open. Update your response and click Submit Score again to save your changes.

Q: Why are my score questions greyed out and I can't submit?
A: This usually means the review round deadline has passed. Once a round closes, reviewers can no longer edit or submit scores. Reach out to the program sponsor for assistance.

1. Login to Kaleidoscope at https://apply.mykaleidoscope.com/login. It's important to sign in under the same email that was used by the program administrator for you.

2. Select Review Board Member as your role. If you do not have multiple roles in Kaleidoscope, you will not see this step or you maybe using an email address that is not assigned to application(s) to review.

You will land in your reviewer portal, where you will see a list of programs where you have been assigned applications to review. You may or may not have applications from previous years in your portal.

3. Select Score Applications next to the program you are reviewing.

If you are assigned reviews across multiple rounds, you will be directed to a screen displaying rounds.

4. Select Score Round next to the round you are reviewing.

Within the round, you will see a list of applications you have been assigned to score. Filter by Needs Review to view all applications you have not yet scored.

5. Select Score Application to begin or continue your scoring.

The application will open with the scorecard on the right and the application on the left.

You can either click Save and come back later or click Submit Score to submit your scorecard for the application. If you've submitted your score and need to change your responses, you can update your response and click Submit Score again — as long as the review round is still open.

Review rounds may have a deadline date to complete by. Once that deadline passes, score questions will grey out and you won't be able to score or edit further. In these instances, please reach out to the program sponsor for further assistance.

Submitted applications can be viewed by selecting the Submitted filter on your applications list.
