Review Board Management: Clone A Review Board

If you are using Kaleidoscope year-over-year, you will likely find that your review board set up is the same or similar year-over-year.

To make set up even simpler, use the review board clone feature to clone a past review board to a new review board.

Note: You cannot clone to a review board that has rounds already established. Be sure to complete your cloning first, then if needed, add any new rounds to the review board.

1. Navigate to the original review board that has the rounds you wish to clone to another review board.
2. From that review board, click "Clone Review Board"

3. Select the program(s) that you would like to clone the review board to from the drop-down list of options.

4. Wait for the clone to complete. If it is a review board with several rounds, this may take a few minutes. You can leave the page and return to view progress at anytime.

As noted above, you cannot clone a review board to a review board with existing rounds. If you attempt to clone to a program with rounds, you will receive an error.

You can view the Clone History for a review board that has been cloned to another program. This will display successful clones as well as failed clones. To view clone history, click 'View Clone History'.
