Kaleidoscope Connect: Campaign Analytics

After a campaign has been sent, you can view the campaign analytics to track the success of the campaign. 

In this article, you will learn:


When an email campaign is in the “Sent” status, you will be able to view the campaign open rate and access the detailed campaign analytics from the Campaigns Dashboard.  


To view detailed analytics, select “View Results”. 

Email Results: 

From the View Results tab on an email campaign you can view the overall campaign open, click, and bounce rate. 

  • The Open Rate percentage is the total number of times your users opened your emails, divided by the total number of Delivered messages.
  • The Click Rate percentage is calculated by taking the number of unique clicks divided by the number of unique opens from an email campaign multiplied by 100.
  • The Bounce Rate percentage is the number of email inboxes that bounced the message, divided by the total number of recipients.

Additionally, you can view the following delivery and engagement stats per email recipient within the Individual Recipient Results table: 

  • Delivered 
  • Opened 
  • Links Clicked
  • Bounced 
  • Blocked 
  • Error Code & Error Message (To learn more about the error codes and how to resolve, view our Error Dictionary)

It can take several minutes for email campaign analytics to populate in the View Results tab. If you do not see analytics populated within 24 hours, please reach out. 


Increase Email Deliverability: 

To ensure successful deliverability of email campaigns and reduce the number of blocked emails, the recipient email service should whitelist the following IP address:  

159.183.81.9 


For example, if you are sending an email campaign to several students with a dedicated school domain, ensure the school IT has whitelisted the above IP address to prevent your email from being blocked.  


To prevent your message from hitting a SPAM or Junk folder, we highly suggest you verify your email domain within the Connect platform. If you would like to verify an email domain, please reach out to your CSM or help@mykaleidoscope.com.

SMS Results:

From the View Results tab on an email campaign you can view the overall campaign open, click, and bounce rate. 

  • Sent By: The user ID for the contact who sent or scheduled the campaign.
  • Sent Count: Number of recipients of the campaign.
  • Sent Date: The date and time (central time zone) that the campaign completed sending.
  • SMS Cost (Credits): The total amount of credits it cost to send the campaign.

Additionally, you can view the following delivery and engagement stats per email recipient within the Individual Recipient Results table: 

  • Delivered 
  • Blocked
  • Error Code & Error Message (To learn more about the error codes and how to resolve, view our Error Dictionary)
